I Could Not

I could not write
Rushing river of thoughts form no words
They flow pathless to the ocean's end

I could not speak
I fear thunder and lightning may strike my speech
And there's no taking back words I spill

I could not move
As if a mountain has blocked my way
I yearn for the other side but the ascent is too high

I could not give up
For I see the heavens and the skies
And I'm willing to fly
Over and above the torturous earth

Forgive my lousy poem. I have pending travel posts but my fears paralyze me at the moment. I will try to get back and sort this anxious mind first.
