Happy February

In my first week on this site (14-20), I broke 1000 ad views. In my second week (21-27), I reached 350 and decided to try to make 400. I failed by 20 ads, ending the week with 380. The final week (28-3) flowed into the month of February, so I watched closely. I ended January having viewed 2000 ads. I did 400 views in a twenty-four-hour period just to reach this goal. Most of the links on this site lead to traffic exchanges or affiliate pages. All of this is great, but where are the ads attracting new people to Hive? Let's get some devs writing about their projects. Let Hive users showcase their talents in whatever topic they like to spend time on. And for this to happen, we need to be able to use front ends other than ctptalk.com. I suggest this because no front end is without issues. I went to post on the CTP front end and saw the site was down. I am not currently getting views using ctpx.io.

This is where other sites come in to play. I enjoy getting emails from ListNerds, as there are a few people who mail about their latest blog, hmm hmm @gadrian😉, which I think is an awesome way to get eyes on your topics. I want to call attention to some, though, that do not have complete or correct links to the pages they are promoting. @snook, check your ListNerds mail, please. There are a few others who I do not know that have link troubles as well. ListNerds is a fairly simple site. It is not just about marketing. It seems to me this site focuses on building an email list for people who may be interested in the topics you like to write about.

Since I am still learning, I do not want to promote too much. I am still finding my feet in this whole writing arena. I have written quite a bit, but it seems to lack substance as shown by my low upvotes and payouts. I will not give up, though, as I have committed to writing daily. I want to get the yearly author badge. I just finished January strong and am one month down with eleven more to go. I know I can do this, and I hope that even on the days when all I put out is a buzz of either positive quotes or some story prompt, I will gain more readers who engage with what I write.
