Great reply and thanks for the strategy. I agree for the most part, but $8 packs are not 2x the value, they are actually undervalued I think...
Just holding a pack gets you 300 airdrop points a day. Each pack will get you about a dollar between now and being able to open. So if you hold the pack, you get at least a dollar back.
The cost of a pack right now is about $23 on Splinterlands counting the price of the voucher and the price of the pack. Is the airdrop chance worth the extra $15 a pack? Just to get guranteed one airdrop card and have a chance at the rest, it would cost $1,150. For that same amount you could have 143 packs. That is 93 more chances at golds, legendary cards and all cards that count towards your airdrop points. Plus you'll have cards to sell before the rest of the splinterlands community can even buy them.
Plus if they sell out super quick on the open drop, You've got cards and will have packs to sell when they can't be bought on Splinterlands.
I think the packs are selling under what they should. People selling them for $8 when Untamed and Dice are going for $70 is not logical.
