I have found that it is a lot easier to succeed on Steemit with a strategy for success instead of just logging in and posting and commenting. I'm not saying this is great for everyone, but here is my daily strategy for Steemit. I hope this helps.
Daily Steemit Strategy

Time Goal
I stay pretty busy, but the I know I want to grow on Steemit, so I have to make time. The first part of my daily Steemit strategy is to find ways to carve out at least 4-5 hours a day for Steemit. It is easier said than done most days, but normally I end up staying up real late to achieve my daily time goal.
Posting
Each day my goal is to write four different blogs. This is a lot more than some people want to write, but it works for me. I have a strategy for what to write and try to stick to it. Here is my daily posting strategy.
1 blog about Steemit
1 blog about crypto and cryptocurrency
1 blog about a personal topic
1 blog that is a new original poem
Each day I try to post on the above topics and here is why. In order to grow on Steemit I have to continue to push myself and not just post crap content. I want it to be good, well at least as good as I can make it. So I write about Steemit and crypto because it forces me to learn something new about crypto daily. It keeps me focusing on the industry and new trends.
I write on a personal topic because I am not really one to open up much. The challenge for writing something about my life or my feelings is real and I enjoy being more honest on Steemit than any other social media. I also want to publish a new poem each day. I like poetry and I enjoy writing it. After a full year I'll have over 350 new poems and that will be enough to publish in a new book.
Because I am interested in the things that I write, it makes it easier to find quality things to write about. I am constantly learning and pushing myself. I do not want the content of my blogs to get boring so I am always pushing forward.
The Community
If you plan to grow on Steemit you will need some help. Here is my strategy to connect with as many people as possible.
1. I always try to comment on anyone that replies to my blog post. I also try to upvote them if it is a decent comment. 99% of the time, I will also follow anyone who adds a good comment. Part of my strategy is to really engage and connect with the people who have already taken time out of their day to read and reply to my post.
2. I try to vote, read and comment on at least 5 different blogs of people that I follow. I just run through my feed and find things that look interesting.
3. I try to welcome at least one person a day who is new to Steemit and I try to read the blogs of at least two or three people in the trending tab of a topic I like.
It is very important to connect and communicate with the people that reach out to you, follow you and new people that you've never met. You can't see Steemit success without having other people becoming fans along the way.
DAILY!
The thing with Steemit, is you have to be consistent. If you really want to grow over time, and become a well known Steemonian, you'll have to be on here daily. I can't tell you how many times I've sat at the computer and couldn't think of a blog and had the idea to go downstairs and watch TV. But I don't. I toughen it out. Generally it only lasts a few minutes, because I have ways to stay focused.
If I can't think of a blog to write at the moment, I go and read what other people are doing. More times than not, I will think of a blog post after reading what other great people are saying. Sometimes I even turn comments on other blogs into a topic for a blog of my own.
One key to posting daily is thinking about what you are going to blog about long before you get a chance to sit down and write it. I think about blogs in the car as I'm driving or when I'm watching a kids movie with the kids. Then when I sit down to write, I actually can go a lot faster and it comes natural. Finding what works for you can make it easier to blog and engage daily on Steemit.
I have found that having a strategy to my daily Steemit activities has helped me become a better Steemonian, writer and a better member of the cyrpto community in general. To be honest, some days I don't get four blogs done and only read one thing from someone else or miss come comments. I don't always reach my goals for the day, but I'm always moving forward.
Find a strategy that works for you and helps to keep you moving forward.
