I'm very excited about the upcoming expansion of adding LAND to the Splinterland universe. Or should I say... Metaverse? I really don't know, but I'm excited.
I think it was last november, 2020, when there were several rounds of land offerings. I didn't get in on the first round, but I bought one in the second round for $12 I think and one in the third for $14... I think.
The game is awesome, and I thought I would get a piece. After talking to a friend the other day, I recently learned that a single plot of land is selling for around $350 right now on Hive-Engine. I mean, that is freaking awesome... but I'm not selling.
I don't know what all the land will include, but I think you can make totems or something. Like I said... I don't know. lol
