A husband is the leader in his family and he will be asked about the people he leads. "Like the saheeh hadith of the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam. So he is responsible for educating and educating his wife and children. Whoever is negligent in this matter, then his wife and children commit sin, so he sins, because that is because he does not teach and teach them.If he is not negligent in educating children and then his family commits disobedience, then he is innocent, but he is obliged to remind them after disobedience so that they will leave things that are contrary to the Shari'a.

Sheikh Saleh Al-Fauzan hafizhahullah said,

"Education for children must begin at the age of mumayyiz. Begin with religious education, based on the words of the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam,

They pass your children to pray for seven years and beat them to ten, and they divide them in bed (HR Abu Dawood)

"Order your children to pray at the age of seven and attack at the age of ten. Separate the beds between them." (HR. Abu Daud)

If the child has reached the age of tamyiz, then his father is instructed to teach and educate him by teaching the Qur'an and several hadiths. He also had to teach children the laws of the Shari'a according to the age of the children, for example teaching him how to pray, how to pray, then teaching him to dhikr to sleep, when to wake up, eat, drink. Because, if the child has reached the age of tamyiz, then he can understand the commands and prohibitions. So he must also be banned from inappropriate things while explaining that they are not permitted to do so, such as lies, names, and others. So he was well educated and abandoned since childhood.

This is an order and obligation for parents. Then anyone who does not command his children to pray, he has denounced the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam and carried out illicit actions and ignored the duties ordered by the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) alaihi wa sallam.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Each of you is a leader, and each of you will be asked about the people he leads." (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim).

Some parents, ironically, are busy with their world affairs and do not care for their children. They did not set aside their time for their children. But all the time is only for the world. This is a great and widespread danger in Islamic countries whose impact is very negative on the education of their children. So actually they do not get good, both for religion and the world.
