This one is not so far from the truth and comes from me seeing a well dressed woman sitting with a man who looked like a beggar in an internet cafe. I was staring in through the window at the time, admiring myself in my red dress, and noticed them...
And bloop said the computer on the difficult street of desires and whoop said the bird of exhaustion. Anyway, it may not be what she expected when she sat down for a cup of coffee with him, for all of a sudden he stood up from the table and howled then asked her for a dance under the moon.
Her eyes widened in flabbergastation at such an expenditure of energy.
He sat back down then and gazed into his coffee as if he wanted to see something in there that could take him away to a desert island or something.
“Do you come here often?” she asked from a long way away, maybe the moon.
He looked up from his coffee with a hangdog expression and a beard still full of breakfast droppings.
“Every day,” he replied.
“Oh,” she said and looked down at her coffee for enlightenment.
“Why did you do that?” she asked with her head still down and looking at her coffee.
“You mean my howl? I used to be famous you know, and young, and everybody knew me by my howl, but now it’s not the same anymore and now I’m thought of as strange,” he said getting up from the table and walking away, his coffee untouched.
“I think I shall just give them money in future,” she thought, staring after the beggar as he disappeared into the park with his little dog.
