This is about getting to the event and listening to Prem Rawat speak in the first of two days in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Woke up really early, meditated for an hour and then decided to go back to sleep: too many hours to breakfast. Plenty of time.

A crow caws from the corner of the rooftop of the hostel; ten am and two coffees. Cloudy, may rain; not hot yet.
Kuala Lumpur city, noisy and very busy.

I go to the event this afternoon so I temper my excitement with patience, there's still four hours before the event doors open. I must remember to remember what I keep forgetting; the world is a forgetful place with its many distractions.
Today is about one thing only: getting to the event, getting into my seat and listening to Prem Rawat when he comes on stage to speak.

The run to the event:
I walked over a tree that had built its home in the pavement as I followed the route I built yesterday to be sure of the way and then got on sardine train to K L Sentral.
Sweat wait in underground and then cool, high speed bullet to PutraJaya with a singing TV.
Met a few people from all over the world, some new, some oldies, then got my ticket for my seat. Two hour wait before going in so had all you can eat from the salad bar for three pounds, and I did eat all I could too.
I have come a very long way to be here: New Jersey to UK, then Bangkok, then long bus to here, and a few train rides on a budget that built itself as I went along. Grace on a budget; looked after perfectly; even the angels sent their messages of all is well.

Then it was time to go in and take seats.
The event started on time and we saw some videos first and then a video of Prem Rawat's daughter: Daya singing: all is well; he does not abandon you. Then the mc introduced Prem Rawat and he was here.
He walked gracefully across the stage to a standing applause, everyone so pleased to see him. He spoke for over an hour about the need for peace in everyone's life, to recognize that we are alive, content simply being alive. Are we? He asked. He spoke of Indian radio stations that broadcast only programs with gurus and swamis explaining, that their explanations were longer than the holy books they were explaining about.

Do we recognize the blessings of this life? That even a small lamp can shine light to circumnavigate the obstacles we come across in life, so light the lamp and go around the obstacles.
He said milk can make many things, like yogurt and butter etc, but that spoiled milk was useless and was good for nothing. Try to be more aware, and be careful what you do in your life. Failure becomes the excuse, it can't be done, be aware, and knowing that you can overcome it.
In you is a mine of anger, lust, unconsciousness, greed, but also a mine of possibilities, to embrace the divine, to rise above the failure.
What is the divine? It is only through consciousness you can begin to fathom the divine. Clarity, all you can do is through clarity, to understand the divine.

When you are thirsty, water means something else. A man in the desert dying of thirst, only water will do.
He spoke of clarity, thirst, enlightenment, knowing the self. That perseverance to not let their failure say: that's enough. Recognize your thirst to be content, it is your nature to be enlightened, to be in peace, to be in that light, that joy, it is your nature. That's where you feel alive.
Know where you are to find your way out of the desert.

The mind's nature is to run off, daydream, past life time; find your heaven now, and live it in a heart that is full of contentment, joy, reality, with a lit lamp to see the obstacles, to avoid them before they come.
The little drop is potent in its desire to get to the ocean, to go back to where it came from. When it meets the ocean it fulfils its objective, it surrenders and becomes one with the ocean.
Don't give up until it's over. The saints didn't give up.

The drop says, move out of my way to all in its path on its way to the ocean. The nature of the drop is to merge with the ocean, no is not an answer.
He said a time will come when all you see are answers.
If you want a mango, go to a mango tree and you will get one.
But if you want a peach and go to a lychee tree it will never give you a peach.
If you are looking for peace, those that go to him get it.
He mentioned at the end that he had been speaking since he was four years old and that he had been doing this for over forty years.
Find your heaven now.
He walked from the stage to a standing ovation.
