In an earlier post I wrote about some beer breweries in the Netherlands.
Just like any company they want you to use their product more.

My family in law is drinking beer.

All of them are alcoholics. You do not need to ask them twice to try out something different.
An alcoholic also does not care about the brand, nor the year a brewery started (so there is no reason for Brandt beer to lie about it).

Most beers are not special.
They are brewed for the common people (once kids and elderly people included).

If you want advice about beer do not ask for an alcoholic's opinion.

There are great shops specialized in beer and wine willing to tell you all about it.

To me it depends on the situation (and contents of my wallet) what kind of beer I drink.
As I stayed in hospital I was not able to have my beer (but it's sold in the shop) so I had to wait till I was back home.

In the supermarket this beer, 5.0 original, catched my eye.
Ever heard of it? I didn't.

The red can is an eye catcher and so is the text on it.

A simple red-white can, no expensive tv commercial, which will benefit you. We saved on everything except the beer's quality.

Next to this can there was a black version of the brand 5.0

I had to buy it too.
No, there is no difference if it comes to the taste, but this can is probably the most beautiful one in the world.

"Brewery Braunschweig" brews this beer by now.

As you can see on the picture above the logo and name of the brewery is completely different.

This is a huge brewery and it is producing over 250.000 hectoliter of beer a year, also for the supermarket Aldi and Penny.

The 5.0 in the name stands for the percentage of alcohol.
This beer is sold in cans and bottles (0.5 liters).

The beer is fine, with or without potato chips and the cans are refreshing and tasteful as well (smart marketing).
