It all depends on your definition of friends.
I don't. I do not see any point in joining social media and adding everyone just to say I have friends.

Does that mean I lack social skills?
I am an introvert and like spending time alone to read, write and think.
People are noisy and I always need to recover after joining the 'party'.

Use the internet, and social media for your benefit not to pretend you are someone you are not.
