Take me back to Puerto Rico!

Puerto Rico

So this summer I had the pleasure, of visiting my homeland, in over 5 years. It was great, I got to see my dad and my little siblings that I had never met. It was a very emotional moment, as I had not seen my father in over 9 years.

I remember when I was younger, he would give me piggy back rides, seeing as I am taller now; I thought id offer him one, he broke out laughing haha. Moral of the story, is that family is family no matter how long you both have been apart, and family is not always blood related.

Anyways, I really miss la guancha.
La Guancha is basically a short "boardwalk," with many food attractions, as well as, a hot spot for bars. It is also a parking lot for the boats of the locals. During the day time, you are able to buy sardines and feed these huge salmons. Also, you can take ferry rides to other smaller islands from there.

The ferry took us too Isla Caja De Muertos!!! It is a sub island of Puerto Rico, on the south shores. Here the water is very close to clear, and you may also hike up to a light house, go snorkeling, and kayaking. It was an amazing experience, to be back! These spot are located In Ponce, Puerto Rico

This is as we approach Isla Caja De Muertos, the lighthouse is located to the left, on a small mountain. I was so fortunate, to be able to visit my beautiful Island, before the hurricane. It is very sad to see, but I want to give thanks to everyone who has donated, the military, and all of those companies donating to the cause. Thank you very much!
