A powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia, marking the highest magnitude seismic event registered in the country in the last decade. The devastating tremor caused widespread destruction, collapsing numerous buildings across multiple municipalities including Cali, Pereira, and Manizales.
