Liberty Hyde Bailey: A garden requires patient labor and attention. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfill good intentions. They thrive because someone expended effort on them.
Hello, dear Hivers!! Good day to you all.. ☀️
I'm back with another garden update of my sweet potato and pineapple..
Last time, I posted about the pineapple my husband threw in the trash, but I managed to save it. At first, it looked weak, and the leaves were almost droopy. Here it is now 👇
I asked my husband to replant it near our dragon fruit so we can have an area with all the fruit plants.
The pineapple leaves are starting to stand firm, and they look greener than before. I could also see new leaves growing from the center. A good sign that the new location is way better than before. It is also getting more direct sunlight in its new spot.
I also shared our sweet potato plant in the styrofoam box. It had grown long, so I snipped the vines and planted them to grow more sweet potatoes.
I put them in a small container of water to allow the roots to grow. I made sure they had enough sunlight every day.
I already planted a few in a sack. I combined rice hull and compost.
New leaves are growing, and I am happy. Small win for today 🥰
I'm good at growing roses, orchids, hibiscus, and other flowering and ornamental plants. This is one of my hundred attempts to grow fruits, vegetables, or crops at home. I was unsuccessful in my few attempts, but I am positive I will be successful this time. 🤞
I have a few seeds lined up to be germinated; I will keep you guys updated.
I also appreciate some tips 😁, please share your garden tips..
That's all for my garden update today..
