It's raining really hard here in my town. The wind was howling outside. Classes are suspended. Good thing I work from home, so I don't really need to worry about going to work soaked and cold. Another good thing, we went grocery shopping yesterday, so we have enough food for a few days.
What's special about my grocery trip yesterday? Well, as usual, I grabbed discounted items and those with freebies. But the most exciting part for me was when I was handed a stamp card to avail a free kilo of rice. 馃榾
I started scouring the aisles for some discounted items until I noticed the bundled items.
There were a lot of items on sale today. From toiletries like wet wipes, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, to snacks like curls and biscuits.
Since it's rainy season, I got this CupNoodle bundle with 1 free when you buy 3. I also got a summer bundle of curls with C2 drink for a discounted price.
I need wet wipes and soap. Good thing they are in discounted bundles, too. 馃榿
Not from a promo bundle aisle, but I got this H&S shampoo with 1 free.
I got other items like pasta, drinks, and canned goods like meatloaf, luncheon meat, squid, and sardines. Not discounted, so I didn't take any photos.
After paying, the cashier handed me a stamp card and informed me that on my next purchase I'd be qualified to get a free 1KG of rice. (with a minimum purchase amount)
wow, that's amazing. For a small family, that 1kg rice can go a long way. 馃憤
Well, that's my quick trip to the grocery store, which gave me a chance to get free rice. 馃榿
