Hello everyone, greetings to you all !!
Yesterday, I shared about going to the city with my family. This was because of the scheduled power interruption throughout the Province of Guimaras. We had a wonderful night walk at Plazuela and Southpoint. Today, I want to share the activity we had on our second day in the city.
In the morning, we had our late breakfast at the nearest shopping mall. We bought some stationery that my daughter needs.
We got a little bored roaming around the mall, so we decided to go to a plaza. Last month, we dropped by the Jaro District Plaza, so today, we agreed to visit another plaza, Plaza Libertad.
Just like other plazas in the city, Plaza Libertad is surrounded by tall old trees. There were a lot of benches where people could sit and rest. The plants and flowers are well-maintained.
My daughter got tired of walking around carrying her shopping bags. So she decided to sit on one of the benches at the center of the plaza. Not far from the plaza is the Iloilo City Hall.
So, I asked my daughter to just wait for us there, and we are going to take pictures of the City Hall 😁
There's a wide-open space in front of the building where the employees hold their flag-raising ceremony every Monday morning and their flag-lowering ceremony every Friday afternoon.
The surroundings are clean and green.
We went there on the weekend, so we saw no employees, but mostly young people. Some were riding their bikes, some were having picnics, and others were just chatting.
I got tired of walking around, so I decided to head back to where my daughter was and went to the hotel for a quick nap before lunch.
