Esta DApp es un frontend, similar a lo que es Peakd, y que sirve como alternativa para los usuarios de Hive, tiene dos cualidades bastante buenas que son, el tener soporte como app para dispositivos móviles y el poder instalarse en Windows y MAC como una app de escritorio, que es en la que me voy a enfocar hoy, pues es la que uso yo, todavía no he utilizado la versión móvil de Ecency y por eso no voy a hablar de ella en este post. Lo primero que debemos hacer para empezar a utilizarla es dirigirnos a su pagina web, puedes hacerlo haciendo click aquí. Esta DApp se puede descargar para usarla como una aplicación desde la PC o se puede utilizar en el navegador, la interfaz es la misma independientemente de cual uses, pero debes saber que si quieres descargar la aplicación de escritorio debes tener Windows de 64 bits.

Una vez dentro de la app, solo debes iniciar sesion con tus datos de Hive, en el botón Login, arriba a la derecha de tu pantalla, puedes ingresar con tus keys o usando Hivesigner. Toda la barra superior es muy parecida a la de Peakd y también a la de Hive, así que te sera sencillo familiarizarte con ella sin importar cual de las dos hayas estado usando antes de Ecency. Al pasar tu mouse sobre la imagen de perfil, en la esquina, se desplegan estas opciones que ves en la imagen de la izquierda, que de nuevo, tienen mucha similitud con lo que puedes ver en Peakd o Hive, el botón profile te lleva a tu perfil, y en drafts te permite ver los borradores que has escrito, las demás opciones las puedes ir explorando para que te familiarices con ellas, mas a la izquierda veras un boton que te permite escribir publicaciones y tambien un boton que te permite cambiar entre modo nocturno e iluminado. Los tres botones fuera del perfil te llevan, de derecha a izquierda, a las notificaciones de tu cuenta, la billetera de Hive y a la billetera de Ecency o mejor dicho, a los Ecency Points, que es el siguiente punto del que voy a hablarles.

The three buttons outside the profile take you, from right to left, to the notifications of your account, the Hive wallet and the Ecency wallet or rather, the Ecency Points, which is the next point I'm going to talk about.

Como dice allí, los Ecency Points se pueden usar dentro de la aplicación y sus usos son variados, puedes darle un boost de hasta 0.6$ a una publicación que elijas usando tus puntos o promocionar una publicación, puedes obtener estos puntos utilizando la app, por escribir una publicación dentro de ella obtienes 15 puntos, por ejemplo, al pasar el mouse por cada opción veras como obtener cada una de las recompensas y esto me parece uno de los mejores atractivos de esta frontend, ademas esto funciona también para la versión móvil, y ademas, también puedes regalar estos puntos a otro usuario si así lo deseas. Este sistema de puntos extra ademas de la versión móvil me parecen mas que suficientes para darle a Ecency una oportunidad, ademas cuentan con una comunidad en discord donde puedes compartir con sus usuarios y aclarar cualquier duda que tengas.
