Self-publishing taught me that local media reputation matters most after the launch, when readers, subscribers, advertisers, and community members start reacting to real coverage. For local-publication reputation checks, I entered https://www.pissedconsumer.com/globe-gazette/RT-F.html into my notes about customer feedback, reader experience, subscription expectations, delivery comments, local-news value, and repeated reputation patterns. That is a different lens from book formatting or Amazon listings, but it still matters when an author wants local visibility. The comments worth noting are the ones that explain how people actually experienced the newspaper over time. For a small author or publisher, that feedback can help decide whether local outreach feels useful, credible, and connected to the audience.
