In this weekly report (5th Week of August 2019): V SYSTEMS announced new listing on INDODAX. VSYS has also joined KuCoin Soft Staking Program to ensure our users’ can benefit the most of VSYS. Please read the full report below.
1. VSYS Blockchain Development
Smart Contract Development
The code for the first version of VSYS Smart Contracts has been merged into the master branch. Euclid is ready to go live, and smart contracts will soon be supported on the Main Chain. The block height for smart contract support is currently set at 6,100,000; the block height of the main chain is 5,886,000 at the time of writing. At 4 seconds per block in Mainnet, there is roughly 10 days until VSYS begins supporting smart contracts. The estimated date of activation is 9th September.The initial version of smart contracts starting from the 6,100,000th block will include some low level functions that will allow users to create their own tokens and define its uses. There is however, a lot more functions in the design process. Once discussions have been concluded, new features will be announced in the near future.
Website Update
Our Supernode Website has been updated to more clearly reflect supernodes that are full. Each supernode has their own reward system and has defined their own capacity. If a supernode is shown as full, it means that any new leases to the supernode will not be considered when lease rewards are given.
Wallet Development
The web wallet has been updated to fix various known issues and make the UI more user friendly. User will see these enhancements after next release.

Soft Staking Program on KuCoin
KuCoin and V SYSTEMS are happy to announce that VSYS coin holders can enjoy the Soft Staking service on KuCoin exchange platform starting from August 28 where users are able to gain and maximise their benefits freely.KuCoin is now offering a 20% return for those who join the soft staking program until Sep 4.
