First, we have an existential decline in fertility; next, we are developing a replacement species, and we have no plan for how to control it. Third, we are facing the burst of another economic bubble, the greatest in human history. Fourth, as if the first three were not cataclysmic enough, we have a looming global war as the Chinese have declared that they will invade Taiwan and the Philippines in 2030. All of these and more come together in the vicinity of 2030. The questions come easily, the answers much more challenging.
