Battle & Giveaway #12 : Battle in WANDS OUT Ruleset

Tak berjudul1_20230419082619.png

Hello everyone, welcome back to the "Battle n Giveaway" post. In this post, I will be sharing battles that I think are unique (SHARE YOUR BATTLE) and also hosting giveaways that I have done before (UPVOTE BUDGET GIVEAWAY).

There are only a few minutes left until the season ends. This time, I will share the battles that I managed to win due to luck and also a little knowledge that I had while in the Ruleset. *What battles and luck did I experience? Let's see the details below...

image.png

The first part of this post will be about SHARE YOUR BATTLE, be it CARD FOCUS or RULESET FOCUS or just a battle I find interesting enough to share. After that, we'll move on to the GIVEAWAY section.
There are changes to the GIVEAWAYS that are different from the usual (you can see them in full after the SHARE YOUR BATTLE section)

And giveaways will happen 1~2 times per week

WANDS OUT

image.png

WANDS OUT is one of the new rulesets that appeared in 2023. In this ruleset, we are only allowed to use magic monsters. Dual-Attack monsters that have magic attack as one of the attack types are also included. There are various ways to win battles in this ruleset. It can be by reducing the ATTACK POWER of the opponent's monster with SILENCE, using MAGIC REFLECT to reflect some of the attack back to the attacker (coupled with AMPLIFY for more optimal results), using VOID to reduce the impact of magic attacks, and so on.

Quora Towershead, one of the Dual Attack monsters that has magic attack as one of its ATTACK TYPE.

And below is one of my (probably quite exciting) battles in the WANDS OUT ruleset....

Lets Start the Battles

Once again, I met an opponent who had the same thoughts when deciding to choose SUMMONER. This time we used a DRAGON SUMMONER, namely Quix the Devious which is specialized to reduce 1 attack power of the opponent's Ranged monster (although the RULESET in this battle is WANDS OUT, where we can only use Magic MONSTER). In this battle I had the advantage in the level of Summoner and the monsters I brought, but the opponent had the advantage in the selection of monsters he brought. The opponent brought 2 RESURRECT monsters (Oshuur Constantia and Adelade Brightwing) and a Dual-attack monster (Agor Longtail) that had a large Mana.

I felt lucky to use Djinn Muirat in this battle. I originally just wanted to use her MAGIC REFLECT (coupled with AMPLIFY from Venari Spellsmith to amplify its effectiveness) because it fits perfectly with the WANDS OUT Ruleset that relies solely on monster magic.

I didn't expect that the opponent would bring monsters with large Mana (because in the previous 5 battles, he didn't use Agor Longtail at all). This allowed Djinn Muirat to use his other ability, GIANT KILLER, which is specialized in giving additional attack power when dealing with monsters with large Mana.

image.png

HEALTH POINT of Agor Longtail is reduced by 6 points after being attacked by Djinn Muirat which has an attack power of 3 points.

image.png

And thanks to the help of Revealer who gave STUN to Void Dragon, Djinn Muirat was able to finish him off using KNOCK-OUT (But before that, Void Dragon got attacked by Chaos Dragon).

GIVEAWAYS TIME !!!

What is the Upvote Budget that you mentioned earlier?

Upvote Budget (or maybe there's a better name) is slightly different (perhaps) GIVEAWAYS from the others. The reason for naming Upvote Budget is because all prizes destined for GIVEAWAYS come from the total Upvotes received in each post (more precisely the Author Reward section)

How these giveaways work

  • Every GIVEAWAYS post uses @reward.app (so the reward for posting will be HBD and HIVE)

    • back to 50% HBD 50%HP
  • The Total Upvote Value affects the limit of cards that can be selected

  • Winners can choose any card they want (As long as there is sufficient DEC)

  • The maximum number of winners for giveaways is 3 people (3 draws) or until the DEC is not sufficient to purchase a card only 1 user.

  • The remaining DEC will be added to the GIVEAWAYS the next week next post.

The number of prizes from giveaway posts that will be converted into DEC is
20% (or 40% of the total Author Reward)

decreased to 5% (or 10% of the total Author Reward)

How to join this GIVEAWAYS

  • Upvotes are not required as a condition to enter this giveaway. However, the more upvotes that each post gets, the more varied the cards that can be selected will be.

  • Re-blog is also not a requirement. However, the more users who know about these GIVEAWAYS, the more likely they will upvote and the prizes will increase.

  • You just need to write a comment once on each GIVEAWAYS post.

    • Also write down your IGN (In-Game Name) if it is different from the name you use for your HIVE account.

    • Write down a list of the cards you want, starting with the most expensive to the cheapest. If you don't write it down, you will be disqualified.

Example* :

@vrezyy (or you can write IGN: vrezyy)
1. Tenyii Striker
2. Venari Crystalsmith
3. Gargoya Lion

*You are free to write down how many cards you want (as long as you follow the rules), but the winner will only get 1 card.
