Sun's out and so are the butterflies.
We've had a lovely stroll down our local canal area today, enjoyed watching boats and barges go by, seen a lot of people walking their dogs whilst socially distancing, and yes, seen wildlife coming out of hiding after the rain has subsided and the sun has come out.
More then anything, I'm pleased to be able to capture this beautiful and quite common butterfly for North West of England.
Species is called Speckled Wood (Pararge Aegeria).
We'll get this kind of butterfly to visit our garden, but as we don't live right next to ponds or canals it will be only on a rare occasion.
Photo was taken through a lens of my wife's Iphone 11 Pro Max and unlike my LG, it has a much more superior camera.
Thanks for stopping by and take care.
