In the whole of UK, not many birds can make a loud sound/noise whilst taking off and flying as a Grey Heron can.

- Size: 84cm - 102cm in length, 155cm - 175cm wingspan
- Weight: 1.5kg - 2kg
- Lifespan: Maximum 25 years
- Diet: Primarily fish and amphibians. However, herons can also feed on small rodents, reptiles and birds.
