This is when the state was obliged to treat you if necessary, no matter who you were.
I remember all my life that you could go to a polyclinic to see a district doctor for free for an examination, or get a referral to a narrow specialist. You could make an appointment and get there on the same day.
You had to buy medicines from the pharmacy yourself, but the state paid for the labour of doctors, their holidays and recuperation.
The same in emergencies. If you had to call for emergency help, you could be taken to the operating theatre practically from a car. Nobody was interested in your insurance account. It just didn't exist. There was no billing.

Now we have Western reforms in medicine and education (among others).
Health insurance is fee-for-service. Appointments in advance, not enough doctors...
Education with cut programmes, history has been removed, Russian literature too.... There is a new history of Ukraine, which says that we dug up the Black Sea, Columbus and Achilles were Ukrainians and a lot of similar absurdity....

Destroy the top 20%, get the middle 60% to have to have subsidies to buy food, and the bottom 20% you ignore or bury.

2-5 years and we have the same social segregation 20/60/20. Repeat the cleaning again?
