EUR / USD
The week started with positive sentiments for the US currency. Most of all falls to the dollar a single European currency. The EUR / USD fell to 1.1735 after last week's high at around 1.1900.
Euro did not like the results of the referendum in Spain. To this were added economic data in the US, which coincide with the expectations of the Fed on the development of inflation. This increases the possibility of a rate hike in December. In this case, the fall of the euro is inevitable.
The euro fell against the dollar by almost 100 points compared to Friday's highs. On the hourly chart, the ascending channel is still stored, but if its lower limit is broken, then it is possible to continue the decline to the area of 1.1600.
USD / JPY
The dollar rate continues to grow against the Japanese yen. The closest target is the highs of last week near the level of 113.20. The main reason for the weakening of the yen is the various vectors of the monetary policy of the United States and Japan. Until this changes, the pair USD / JPY may continue to grow. Technically, a correction has been brewing for a long time, but the growth of the yield of American bonds prevents this. Theoretically, it is more possible to continue the movement in the range 112-113.
On the hourly chart, the ascending channel is broken and horizontal correction is developing. A shallow downward channel may be a stop before going to 114-115. Now the price is at the bottom of the descending channel. It is possible to move to its lower border to 112.15.
GBP / USD
The British pound continues to fall against the background of the strengthening of the dollar and uncertainty regarding the negotiations on the withdrawal of Britain from the European Union. On Friday, the GBP / USD pair consolidated around the level of 1.3400, and today it is ready to fall below 1.3300.
On the hourly chart, a downward channel is formed through the last lows and after correction, a continued fall in the pound rate is possible.
