After seeing the success of SCV token, in which token holders own a share of a splinterlands validator license. I decided to pick one up for myself.
The picture above did appear on my splinterlands account and i have received my first days voucher rewards but i have no idea how to get to the MY COLLECTION button.
These are the rough figures it cost me and how i hope it will pay off.
Total cost was approx 4800 hive.
This included 500 vouchers which gave me a huge discount. Approx 27k sps.
My first day rewards were 7.342 vouchers.
Roughly 12 hive.
I expect voucher prices to drop possibly quite quickly.
IF everything stayed the same its roughly 400 days to get my money back.
Soon the Sps rewards will start too so that should bring my ROI to within 9-12 months.
Every tranche the price of the license increases so if they all sell out we are looking at a 10x return on the license(if it sells)
After weighing everything up even after considering a drop in voucher prices, reduction in voucher rewards and reduction in sps price this could still be one hell of a return
