Today I want to introduce you to a very common subject in photography: windows.
An old saying goes that “the eyes are the windows to the soul”, maybe the windows are the eyes of things.
The window symbolizes receptivity and openness to outside influences. It can also be considered a symbol of consciousness.
It is through the windows that light enters. In this sense, they provide access to the truth, to consciousness, once the light reaches the darkness of ignorance.
What is certain is that they have been a recurring motif in the history of photography.
They serve as a frame, as a source of natural light in interiors, as an architectural reference, as a source of reflections, as a way of simulating a double exposure, in short, there are many options that they offer us.
In today's selection I present images taken over time in different places and show some of the possibilities I mentioned above.

Olá amigos! Espero que estejam todos bem e fazendo boas fotografias!
Hoje quero apresentar a vocês um sujeito muito comum na fotografia: as janelas.
Um velho ditado diz que “os olhos são as janelas da alma”, talvez as janelas sejam os olhos das coisas.
A janela simboliza a receptividade e a abertura para as influências vindas de fora. Ela também pode ser considerada um símbolo da consciência.
É pelas janelas que a luz entra. Nesse sentido, elas propiciam o acesso à verdade, à consciência, uma vez que a luz atinge as trevas da ignorância.
O certo é que elas têm sido motivo recorrente na história da fotografia.
Elas servem como moldura, como fonte de luz natural em interiores, como referência arquitetônica, como fonte de reflexos, como forma de simular uma dupla exposição, enfim, são muitas as opções que nos brindam.
Na seleção de hoje apresento imagens feitas ao longo do tempo em diversos lugares e mostram algumas das possibilidades das quais falei acima.
