You wake up. Stretch your arms and let out a big yawn. You look around the familiar surrounding of your room and think about the things you have to do.
You spend the next five minutes rolling to your side, then to the other and lying flat on your back again.
You very well know the things you have to do. Feed the dogs, cook breakfast, call your mom and say hi, text your girlfriend good morning and that’s just a few after waking up. Then you remembered what your mom used to say when you used to live with her.
Suddenly, you feel a sense of clarity and motivation flood you. Time is ticking and the day will soon end. You get up and fix your bed. Greet the sun a good morning and start doing things, one step at a time.
You say those words like a mantra, preparing you to conquer the day.
