This is my new proposed icon design for the android application "Xabber", designed using Adobe Illustrator. The features of this app is right down below:
Open source Jabber (XMPP) client with multi-account support and clean and simple interface. Being both free (as in freedom!) and ad-free, Xabber is designed to be the best Jabber client for Android.
Contact list management: add/remove/edit contacts, groups, subscriptions

Notification setting for each contact
Notifications based on key phrase
Full Unicode support, chat in any language

Design Concept:
The idea was to create a simple and modern logo design. By utilizing the current's idea of a lightbulb and reinventing it into cleaner and sleeker look and retaining the original color scheme.
Benefits / Improvements
Design is cleaner and modern and brings a fresh look to the Xabber brand. It is much easier for the eyes compared to the current logo.
