Hace unas semanas les conté una historia que en aquel momento tenía un final todavía abierto.
Durante la madrugada del 29 de julio, tuve que vender parte de mis HIVE.
No porque pensara que era el mejor momento para vender.
No porque hubiera descubierto una fórmula mágica para hacer trading.
Y mucho menos porque quisiera desprenderme de mis HIVE.
Tenía una razón mucho más sencilla: necesitaba un teléfono nuevo.
Mi viejo OnePlus 3T había llegado prácticamente al final de su vida útil. La cámara ya no enfocaba correctamente, la batería estaba muy deteriorada, el rendimiento comenzaba a ser insuficiente y, para colmo, la versión que tenía no era compatible con las bandas LTE que necesitaba para conectarme correctamente en Cuba.
Para alguien que utiliza el teléfono principalmente para entretenimiento quizá no sería tan grave.
Para mí sí.
El teléfono es una de mis principales herramientas para trabajar en Hive.
Como les conté anteriormente, decidí convertir parte de mis HIVE en saldo digital utilizando QvaPay.
Ese paso fue importante porque me permitió asegurar el valor que necesitaba para mi objetivo, independientemente de lo que hiciera el precio de HIVE después.
Y aquí apareció una solución familiar.
Mi sobrino utiliza los dólares digitales de QvaPay para realizar compras en tiendas por Internet. Así que, en lugar de buscar una complicada ruta para convertir ese saldo, llegamos a un acuerdo familiar y pude obtener el dinero en efectivo que necesitaba para comprar el teléfono.

Y finalmente ocurrió.

Y aunque pueda parecer simplemente un cambio de teléfono, para mí representa bastante más.
Es una herramienta que necesitaba para poder continuar haciendo lo mismo que estaba haciendo antes, pero con muchas menos limitaciones.
El Galaxy A16 cuenta con una batería de 5000 mAh.
Después de convivir con una batería que prácticamente pedía auxilio cada vez que abría una aplicación, esto se siente como un salto enorme.
Ahora puedo trabajar durante mucho más tiempo sin estar pendiente constantemente de encontrar un enchufe.
Y en un lugar donde los apagones forman parte de la rutina, esto no es precisamente un detalle menor.
Mi antiguo teléfono ya tenía problemas serios para enfocar.
Para alguien que publica contenido y utiliza fotografías constantemente, eso era una limitación importante.
Ahora tengo una cámara mucho más capaz para documentar lo que hago y acompañar mis publicaciones con imágenes de mejor calidad.
No me convertiré en fotógrafo profesional de la noche a la mañana, pero al menos la cámara ya no decidirá por mí cuándo quiere enfocar.
Aquí también noto una diferencia enorme.
Hive, Ecency, navegadores, wallets, QvaPay y las diferentes aplicaciones que utilizo funcionan con mucha más fluidez.
El teléfono simplemente responde mejor.
Y cuando trabajas desde un dispositivo móvil, esa diferencia se nota muchísimo.
Este punto probablemente sea menos evidente para alguien que vive en otro país.
Mi antiguo OnePlus 3T no era una versión internacional compatible con las bandas LTE utilizadas en Cuba.
Por eso no podía aprovechar correctamente determinadas frecuencias de la red 4G.
El nuevo teléfono sí tiene la compatibilidad que necesito.
Y para mí esto significa algo muy sencillo:
más posibilidades de estar conectado y trabajar cuando realmente lo necesito.
Podría decir simplemente que compré un Samsung Galaxy A16.
Pero creo que sería quedarse con la parte menos interesante de la historia.
Lo que realmente hice fue convertir recompensas obtenidas creando contenido en Hive en una herramienta que me permitirá seguir creando contenido en Hive.
Ese círculo es lo que más me gusta.
Publiqué.
Trabajé.
Recibí recompensas.
Convertí parte de esas recompensas.
Y finalmente ese dinero terminó convertido en una herramienta de trabajo.
No fue una inversión perfecta.
No vendí en el punto máximo.
De hecho, todos recordamos lo que ocurrió justo después de mi venta: HIVE decidió regalarme unas cuantas velas verdes para recordarme que el mercado siempre tiene sentido del humor.
Pero tampoco era ese el objetivo.
Mi objetivo era poder seguir aquí.
Ahora tengo una herramienta mucho mejor para seguir trabajando.
Y eso me da todavía más ganas de continuar creando contenido, aprendiendo sobre criptomonedas, experimentando con nuevas herramientas y, por supuesto, acumulando nuevamente HIVE.
Porque esa es quizás la mejor parte de todo esto.
El HIVE que vendí se convirtió en un teléfono.
Y ese teléfono ahora me ayudará a crear los próximos posts que, con suerte, volverán a generar más HIVE.
Es una pequeña rueda que sigue girando.
Y mientras siga girando, yo seguiré aquí.

A few weeks ago, I shared a story with you that, at the time, still had an unfinished ending.
During the early hours of July 29, I had to sell part of my HIVE.
Not because I thought it was the perfect time to sell.
Not because I had discovered some magical trading formula.
And certainly not because I wanted to get rid of my HIVE.
I had a much simpler reason: I needed a new phone.
My old OnePlus 3T had practically reached the end of its life. The camera no longer focused properly, the battery had deteriorated badly, its performance was becoming insufficient, and, to make matters worse, the version I had was not compatible with the LTE bands I needed to connect properly in Cuba.
For someone who mainly uses a phone for entertainment, perhaps that wouldn't be such a big deal.
For me, it was.
My phone is one of my main tools for working on Hive.
As I explained in my previous posts, I decided to convert part of my HIVE into digital balance using QvaPay.
That step was important because it allowed me to secure the value I needed for my goal, regardless of what HIVE's price decided to do afterward.
And that's where a family solution came into play.
My nephew uses QvaPay's digital dollars to make purchases from online stores. So instead of looking for a complicated way to convert that balance, we reached a family agreement, and I was able to get the cash I needed to buy the phone.

And finally, it happened.
The money I earned on Hive became a new phone.

And in a place where power outages are part of everyday life, that's definitely not a minor detail.
My old phone was already having serious focusing problems.
For someone who regularly publishes content and uses photographs, that was a significant limitation.
Now I have a much more capable camera for documenting what I do and accompanying my publications with better-quality images.
I won't become a professional photographer overnight, but at least the camera will no longer decide for me when it feels like focusing.
I can also notice a huge difference here.
Hive, Ecency, browsers, wallets, QvaPay, and the different applications I use all run much more smoothly.
The phone simply responds better.
And when you work from a mobile device, that difference becomes very noticeable.
This point may be less obvious to someone living in another country.
My old OnePlus 3T was not an international version compatible with the LTE bands used in Cuba.
Because of that, I couldn't properly take advantage of some of the 4G frequencies available here.
The new phone has the compatibility I need.
And for me, that means something very simple:
more opportunities to stay connected and work when I actually need to.
I could simply say that I bought a Samsung Galaxy A16.
But I think that would miss the most interesting part of the story.
What I really did was turn rewards earned by creating content on Hive into a tool that will allow me to keep creating content on Hive.
That's the part I like the most about this whole story.
I published.
I worked.
I received rewards.
I converted part of those rewards.
And eventually, that money became a work tool.
It wasn't a perfect investment.
I didn't sell at the top.
In fact, we all remember what happened right after I sold: HIVE decided to give me a few green candles just to remind me that the market always has a sense of humor.
But that wasn't the goal either.
My goal was to be able to stay here.
Now I have a much better tool for continuing my work.
And that makes me even more motivated to keep creating content, learning about cryptocurrencies, experimenting with new tools, and, of course, accumulating HIVE again.
Because perhaps that's the best part of the whole story.
The HIVE I sold became a phone.
And that phone will now help me create the next posts that, hopefully, will generate more HIVE.
It's a small wheel that keeps turning.
And as long as it keeps turning, I'll keep being here.
