Very thorough analysis of the grey market! I am usually apprehensive about buying stuff from key resellers since their provenance is that murky, and you're not guaranteed to even keep your game if the

It's explained in the video

Assassin's Creed was never really supposed to exist!

Far Cry has always lived and died based on the world it presents to the player (and the antagonist since FC3). In the case of 4, setting the game up in the Hymalayas was really inspired, it really helped

I've always been fascinated by Peggle, even before I knew what pachinko was. There was (and still is) a funny Valve-branded Peggle game named Peggle Extreme that is free on Steam, and I played that a bunch.

I am a bit ambivalent due to my experience with the Evercade EXP-R. I like the idea, but the build quality and the emulation are a bit spotty in select titles. I do like the fact that the savefiles are

I couldn't really choose any subseries in particular as my favourite, but there is something to be said about the overall visual presentation before Iga became the patron of the series. It's just timeless.

This one hit close to home for me as a Castlevania fan. The homebrew community is really performing miracles with some of those remakes/demakes

I do have lots of nostalgia for Stargate too, but going back to watch clips, especially from Atlantis, was a bit rough. There is also that fan-made Adventure Game Studio game, Stargate Adventures, which

To be fair, most of the time, the Stargate shows themselves did have pretty low-budget productions, between small and repeated sets and sometumes dodgy CGI. They did, at least, know how to cultivate mystery,

Clair Obscur is a very beautiful, if bleak, game, but it also loves to dabble in some references to songs, pop culture, and memes. This Daft Punk one I got last week was probably my favorite so far:

I started the series around the time Yakuza 0 got released in the west and been steadily growing through them. Ngl, 0 really feels like they took all the years of experience up to that point with 1 through

Been playing it all week, and there's always a secret to find everywhere you go. It's absolutely amazing what they've managed to do with both the story, the aesthetics, and the combat system, and that

It is a bit more complex than Skyrim, but yes, it is still a game from 2006 under all the glossy new graphics. I believe it's still worth a playthrough, though, especially with how busted your character

Yeah, it is pretty great, at least on console, can't really speak about the PC performance since I played it on Xbox. Still, either version is great and has its own charm!

I spent an unreasonable amount of time playing Zuma and Zuma's Revenge. Still have fond memories of them to this day.

Yeah, it seems everyone wants to automate creativity instead of making everyone's life easier and giving people more time to actually create stuff.

Hey, thanks for checking out my post about handhelds and shouting it out!

I am highly against AI gaming on principle, it really takes the artistic element out of making games. It is telling, at least for me, that all success stories relating to AI games are related to recreating

Yeah, some online stuff and also some older stuff will indeed have issues. Looking through ProtonDB though, it seems people have gotten Dofus to run reliably, so at least there's that.
