Hello, I want to walk you, albeit virtually, to a unique place nestled at the foot of the Balkans, near the town of Elena, about 5 km from there. The village is small and depopulated and even in summer my friend and I are the only visitors to the river that springs from Chumerna peak.
The river, although not very flooded, is unique with its rocky natural jacuzzis that it has formed over the years. It is wonderful even in some places for fishing. For lovers of hiking and lovers of herbs and mushrooms, there is also something to find. There are eco-trails to the peaks that will be difficult for even the most adventurous enthusiasts.
