Meet Julie
I became a bird lover when we rescued a little green cheek conure years ago out of compassion. I didn't know anything about birds then! Now I cannot imagine my home without bird chirping and parrot calls. I think it's very individual, but after having dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, etc… the birds were the best pets for me. I love their vibrant personalities, independence, and affection. Birds are also incredibly smart. I just fell in love with them and adopted more and more, becoming a crazy bird lady!
