Tsukiji shijō 築地市場
The famous Tokyo fish market Tsukiji gets relocated. After more than 80 years in operation, it will be closing down by the end of the year.
The market Is expected to move to Toyosu to the east of the current site, next October.
A good opportunity to show you some impressions of the Tsukiji shijō.
On its last new year auction the highest bidder paying nearly 338 000$ for a giant tuna.
