Whenever I get to feeling down after perusing the "run-of-the-mill" social media sites that envelop our daily lives, I come over here to Steemit to recharge my soul. It works every time. Today, my feed, here, seems overtaken by this monomad that is a thing! It quickly gave me inspiration to dig out one of my most cherished black and white moments.
I had spent the entire day on a famous tall ship, Californian, who went out to chase around this other VERY famous tall ship, the Star of India, which is usually tied up at the San Diego Maritime Museum, but every few years goes out to stretch her legs! I got to snap this as we both headed into the harbor, with late afternoon sun and just a moment before she took in her sails!
