Origin
The pompous blue winch (Ipomoea tricolor), also often called funnel winch or fine winch, originates from Mexico and Central America. There they are called "Badoh Negro" and their seeds have been used as hallucinogens since the time of the Aztecs. From a botanical point of view, it belongs to the Convolvulaceae family. In our home gardens, the magnificent wind is a popular climbing plant, as it surrounds entire trellises in a very short time. With its three-coloured flowers, it also cuts a particularly good figure.
A really good contribution for the time of year my friend 👍😀
