We were in Bamberg in winter 2019. An experience even in cloudy weather. The small town of Bamberg should not be missed. It is located on a small river in the middle of rolling hills and wasn't very much destroyed in the war. It has a beautiful old building and is absolutely charming. Countless cafes shops and historic buildings make you forget the time. The old town is just gorgeous in the day, but even better in the night, and so lively! Really going for a walk was great fun.
Even if it was a bit fresh, we liked the beer.
There is also a well-located parking space there.
