I believe everyone has their own childhood trauma, but each to varying degrees. These are our formative years which serve as a future protective mechanism towards correcting social behaviors, such as our own parenting or interactions with loved ones. Everyone is secretly trying to heal their childhood trauma or abuse by seeking external solutions, but we need to find those within.
