Today was a terrible day for a lot of people, myself included. I finally capitulated on most of my crypto holdings that were liquid - not because I wanted to but because I'm facing a bigger problem. My brokerage account was margin called on this massive red day along with hundreds of thousands of other traders. In order to prevent forced selling of my stocks I decided to get some money out of what little crypto I have left and try to salvage what's left over there.
I had built up a sizeable Sonic token position last year and then bought a stupid amount of SUI and a few other tokens in the last two months to boot. Sitting on a huge drawdown on all of those positions I had to make the choice of either just keep waiting or cut the losses now to save my stocks. Of course it doesn't feel good trying to juggle multiple losing positions in a market like this so I said fine, I will just cut the crypto and focus on what I can elsewhere.
So for now my only bags are staked Hive, a small PulseChain buy from a month ago, plus some random tokens here and there like ANON (HeyAnon). Feels bad man, especially when I had the chance to cut my losses many times in the past. When your hand is forced theres nothing really you can do.
