Did you live the nomad life also in a van? Mine is temporary in repair, I guess it is ready again the end of February. Madeira is for sure a beautiful island, but you need some driving skills in some parts. I also loved to go on the old roads around the island, the ones that are mostly closed for traffic. When you walk there, it feels like humanity is gone after an apocalypse.
