Yup, the concept of a hero being a punishment seems like a new trope, at least the anime and manga gave it more significant attention if it was already there somewhere, but usually the hero thing in other scenarios would be a redemption line or like suicide squad not exactly heroes but forced. Quite a breath of fresh air, though I wasn't expecting an isekai element from a certain character.
