Good for you! Keep moving. You've got this! ❤️💪
Pain is real but I have known for many years that every dis ease starts in the mind/ brain and can thus be healed by changing our thinking ( no matter how challenging ).
My mom has had hip, leg, knee, back, foot etc. pain for about 10 years now.
Ten years of physiotheraphy haven't helped. Nor did a recent back operation. Years of second opinions, scans and injections didn't fix the issue.
Neurology now points to MS. In fact she got the news today that it's likely MS.
Sigh.
In the end, MS is a label that is pretty debilitating, has no cure (they say) and keeps you on meds until the end.
My mom is 73 and was always strong and healthy. Now, 4 years after my dad's passing, she has become a big believer in the medical system. What the doctor says is the truth. They know best. She has forgotten how to think for herself.
She has wanted them to find something wrong with her and her prayer has been answered.
I am the only one of my four siblings with a different pov. I have tried to talk to my mom before but she is super stubborn and has to choose her own path.
About 5 years ago, I sent her a book called: Healing Back Pain (about mind-body work related to so called 'chronic' pain/illnesses ). It did not convince her.
I will pray for my mom but am happy to read your story.
The mind is extremely powerful (for better and for worse).
Sending love!
