I love the writing part, but if it's more than a few pages the editing can be very daunting.

It is more than a few pages. Then again, the original never released novel that transmorphed into this was 50k words and as it was written in a forced way ( during NaNoWriMo 2019 ), it felt uneditable. Compared to that, this should be doable.

I feel I am back in the year 2010, where I spent months editing a couple of hours of video footage in a 12 minutes short film. The difference being that this isn't a movie ;<)

And for those times that I just posted it: now every time I see it in my feed, I get a shameful feeling.

No need to feel ashamed of your past. It's proof that you actually grow.
