We definitely cannot make such comparisons right now, because our intelligences are relatively different: human intelligence based on biological processes vs. artificial intelligence based on algorithms.

However, we do not know for sure how everything will evolve in the future. If humans keep trying to turn the virtual into something real, we could be talking about similarities.
