Bluesky ist eine Entwicklung des früheren Twitter-Founders Jack Dorsey, der ein ähnliches dezentrales Social Media entwickeln möchte wie Hive, Mastodon oder Nostr.
In den Medien wurde bis jetzt Hive immer ignoriert und zumindest in den deutschen Massenmedien nie erwähnt. Es war immer nur von Mastodon oder Bluesky als Twitter-Alternative die Rede. Und sogar von Nostr wurde berichtet, aber nicht über die Hive Blockchain, die bereits seit Jahren ein dezentrales Social Media auf Blockchain-Basis mit mehreren Nodes und Frontends anbietet.
Während Nostr noch ziemlich unausgereift wirkt, ist Bluesky jetzt mit einer privaten Beta-App an den Start gegangen. Man muss sich allerdings in eine Waitlist eintragen, um Zugang zu bekommen.
Wie seht ihr die Chancen von Bluesky? Denke, selbst wenn Jack Dorsey hinter dem Projekt steht, wird es schwierig sich gegen Twitter zu behaupten (solange Twitter nicht in Konkurs geht), da es schwierig ist, User von einer bestehenden Plattform mit vielen Usern auf eine andere mit wenig Usern zu locken. Netzwerk-Effekt.
Bei Hive funktioniert das in beschränkter Weise mit dem Blockchain-Vorteil und den Krypto-Rewards, aber bei Nostr ist es sogar angedacht für das Posten von Beiträgen eine kleine Gebühr zahlen zu müssen. Als Spam-Schutz.
Freue mich jedenfalls, dass Hive endlich einmal erwähnt wurde. Denkt ihr, dass Bluesky eine Chance gegen Twitter haben wird? Wie kann man User dazu bringen, eine zensur-resistentere Plattform zu nutzen?

Bluesky is a development of the former Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, who wants to develop a decentralized social media similar to Hive, Mastodon or Nostr.
In the media, Hive has always been ignored and never mentioned, at least in the German mass media. They only talked of Mastodon or Bluesky as Twitter alternatives. On Hive, this works in a limited fashion with the blockchain advantage and crypto rewards, but on Nostr there is even consideration of charging a small fee for posting. As a spam protection.
