After one particularly stormy afternoon, (during which I watched a rotating cloud that wanted to drop from the storm) we were treated to this pretty rainbow.
I decided to play around with the image a bit.
As we do that, have a listen to the best rainbow song ever... (it took me a bit to find a version of the song that I really liked.)
Before I played, I used the "color enhance" setting on Photoscape to give it the bolder tones that would lend themselves to playing. (This is after my normal "autolevel" and "backlight" edits.)
The first play edit is this "impressionistic" filter on Photoscape. I liked the Bob Ross-y feel to the trees with this. The messy rainbow added to it's delight.
Next, we have the "water painting" setting which really gave me a pretty picture as well.
Finally, I felt I just had to try the reflection - and I really like the result!
What do you think? Do you find that some pictures just seem to scream out to be played with?
Photos taken by myself in June 2019 with my Pentax K30.
