This song has been a bit of an earworm for me this week - it's so catchy and fun.
I will just give a content warning - it's definitely a bit more adult in content for many tastes - especially in the dancing style and the Lyrics (right click for Google Translate - or copy/paste) - but I find the realistic Latin approach to love songs somewhat refreshing, even as it's sometimes shocking to those of us with Anglican-American experiences.

I find the whole thing very exciting. The tune is catchy, the lyrics very learnable (even if you don't speak Spanish), and the dancing is appropriate for the lyrics/subject of the son.
So, let's look for some covers... I'm going to save my favorite for the finale today...
Lots of people are covering this, but these two had some of the best vocals. I would love to see a cover where they also try to do the video, but this is beautiful in its own right.
Parodies were fun to look at, though challenging to find ones that weren't too raunchy.
Probably just as well that my Spanish is poor. But it's still really funny, very well acted and filmed. Vocally, they're good too, so it's totally worth it even if they're being totally raunchy in Spanish!
It's a bit short and the vocal quality is a bit lacking, but these deficiencies are more than made up for with the lyrics (and English subtitles) and the excellent video. Unless you're recovering from a questionable burrito, it's worth a minute and a half of your time to watch this parody!
omg... Talk about Despacito crossed with a heavy dose of narcissism! This one had me cracking up with laughter. His vocal quality is excellent, the lyrics are magnificent and the video is wonderful.
The crazy lyrics placed this one in my WTF category for the day.

I listened to other mashups by this singer, but none of them hit me the way this one does. Her voice is perfect for these songs - some of her theatrics are kind of fun as well. Do give her a listen.
