South of Munising, Michigan, on M-28, is this eye-catching waterfall - Alger Falls. Undoubtedly, it looks a lot better after a good rain, but even in July, it looks pretty nice.
No need to search for this one, it's visible from the road. Simply pull off, park, and take the short stroll if you want to get closer.
Good footwear is recommended if you want to get any closer. (I didn't.)
Meanwhile, here are some wild irises that grow along the path.
@emberskydragon got this picture of a twelve-spot skimmer (a kind of dragonfly) near the top of the path.
Then, one final glance before we continued on our way.
