I remember those days when
We used to sit on the floor amid books
and have intellectual debates
and in the middle of these debates
you used to glance at me
I remember those days when
while sipping tea in the canteen
you used to take out a paper from your bag
and recite to me your fresh poem written
and I used to forget the time to go home
I remember those days too when
after not meeting me for two days
you used to get restless and
used to find excuses to get a glimpse of you somehow
I could see your restlessness even on the phone
and I used to feel pleased with myself
I used to sit idle for hours waiting for you and seeing you coming,
I used to pretend to be neutral and thinking that my drama of going home was true
you used to pull my hand away and then
how beautiful were those days when I and You are somewhat familiar to each other,
somewhat unfamiliar
Today when we have been living together for many years
And when I claim to know you completely
And complain to you
That your love was an illusion
You loved my looks, not me
Today when you are busy with many things
Many twists of life are entangled in you
And now the shadow of increasing age is visible on my looks
Today when my expectations from you are fading
Today when I have started looking at myself in the mirror
When your eyes that were once a mirror
Now have started ignoring me,
Then one day you stop and hold my hand
Just like that and All the moments that have passed start becoming young
You have once again become a little unknown, a little unfamiliar
I want you to remain like this
Somewhat unknown to me, and life should pass like this
Every day, every moment
And in knowing you, and in wanting
Thank you so much for reading. Have a great day 馃槉馃檹. @vikbuddy
