Everything seemed pleasant in that sweet childhood
We were immersed in fun in that lovely childhood
All those dear friends
those dusty streets of the village
Covered with sheets
we used to run in the streets out of fearlessness

The mind becomes intoxicated with the greenery of the fields.
We used to enjoy the gardens and swing on the trees
The lovely tune of the pleasant morning
the beautiful evening of the waning evening
Everything seemed careless in that lovely childhood

Fly and touch the sky with the swings of monsoon
Used to soak in the drizzle of dark clouds, having fun
Whenever we come tired
we find the shade of mother's lap

We used to keep flying in his dreams
after listening to the stories from grandmother
to fly like a bird
to flow like a flowing river
Everything was so innocent in that sweet childhood

Caught in the troubles of life,
forgot the smiles of childhood,
Neither could we run in the gardens,
nor could we get wet in the rain
got entangled in this maze
Childhood became sad, left home too, couldn't sleep in mother's lap again

Memories of happy childhood now make this heart beat
There is a feeling of headache in the body and it makes the mind restless
This tired and broken heart has so much desire now
Someone should take us back to that lovely childhood
