like the name of the garden lizard, I found this lizard yesterday afternoon in the banana garden behind my house, when I was walking there I saw something fall onto one of the banana leaves near me, at first I thought it was a snake, but after slowly getting closer I saw the lizard's head it appeared, between fear and not wanting to waste the opportunity I was silent for about a minute, then gave myself the opportunity to take some pictures that looked like he was peeking, his eyes continued to stare at me
you can see at such a close distance this lizard is very similar to a snake, I estimate its size is around 6cm, the scales are clearly visible and very smooth, and some of them look like they are glowing
the color of the scales is a mixture of brown and black, what surprised me several times was when he put out his forked tongue, it looks exactly like a snake's tongue, I don't know whether he attacks humans, we often find this lizard in gardens but it is very difficult to get a position when he calms down
There weren't many positions I could take, because this time the model was a little fierce and scary, I followed every movement he made. What a lucky day to be able to see this animal this close, I hope you like some of the shots I shared.
